Thanksgiving 2023 at Bpod Baguio, Philippines

While us, Filipinos do not generally celebrate Thanksgiving, our little family, together with some really good friends, have been celebrating Thanksgiving since the pandemic. Such gathering was initiated by my sister, wherein she opted to follow the American Thanksgiving schedule. This tear, she opted to reserve several units at a relatively new aparthotel (portmanteau for apartment -hotel) called Bpod Baguio so our invited friends could stay with us.

Bpod is is being positioned as a new vacation accommodation in the city of pines, Baguio City wherein one can enjoy their own private boutique home. Bpod is conveniently tucked at a location near the Mansion (Julian Street).

Quick Accommodation Description:
Opened: 2022
Number of Rooms: 14

Each unit has a fully equipped kitchenette with dining area, a microwave, kettle, and a fridge. Rooms in each unit has a private bathroom and free WiFi, while some rooms also boast a balcony while some have garden views. Other things provided are bed linen and towels.

An à la carte breakfast is available each morning at the aparthotel in-house cafe-restobar.

Bpod is approximately 4 km from Burnham Park and Session Road. BenCab Museum is around 10 km away while the Philippine Military Academy is 12 km from the aparthotel. Popular Baguio tourist spots like Camp John Hay, Wright Park, The Mansion, Botanical Garden and Mines View Park are walking distance.
