Nicholai’s Crib: A Serene Cottage by the Sea (La Union šŸ‡µšŸ‡)

San Juan, La Union — How do people manage to tune out the noise of the world and hear their own hearts? Back in the days, I’d be running away to the beach for a few days, to allow the sand and sea water touch my toes; or I’d head my way to a mountain, camp out and gaze up at the sky and try to listen to my heart and soul. And I miss these.

Nothing beats a relaxation spot with a tranquil nature vibe that creates a more relaxing experience. Boasting a serene sea view of the West Philippine Sea, the waters of Urbiztondo in San Juan La Union has become a popular surfing and beach spot. And Nicholai’s Crib’s beachfront location is spot on perfection.

Nicholais Crib is a small, charming cottage by the sea that has an alfresco terrace, a simple bedroom with a kitchen and bathroom. And as I’ve previously mentioned, the view from this nook is beyond stunning anytime of the day. But the golden hour in the late afternoon is just magical.
