I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Food, for me, has always been an adventure. — Anthony Bourdain.
Having considered myself as a Baguio local (having lived in Baguio for more than 15 years), friends and acquaintances outside the City of Pine would often ask me of the best places to eat other than SM’s food court or those restos and fast-food chain along Session Road. I would often mention my 5 favorite restos/cafe to them. One of which is Canto.
Canto is a well loved restaurant among the 5 restaurants within the now defunct Ketchup Food Community. Its popularity is due to their pork oh-so-soft-and-sumptuous barbecue lomo ribs.
As I have mentioned, most people would come to Canto to have a taste of their lomo ribs. This famed ribs is the fall off the bone type, that is perfectly seasoned. You surely would get your money’s worth. I also like their pizza and red velvet cheesecake. All these stuff perfectly go with their almond – lychee drinks.
Here is Canto’s menu for your reference.

***UPDATE: The original Canto at the Ketchup Food Community is no longer there. In fact, Ketchup is not there anymore since May 2017. A bit sad because I really like the food community. But don’t fret out because you can still enjoy Canto and it’s sumptuous offerings at its new home.
