Cozy Nights and Kindred Spirits: A Potluck Pajama Party at Four Quarters (Baguio City)

Written by:

There is something uniquely magical about Baguio City when the fog rolls in and the evening chill begins to bite. Usually, that’s your cue to find a fireplace, but recently, I found something even warmer: a potluck pajama party hosted by The Shared Table.

One of the themed rooms of Four Quarters. Photo grabbed from Shared Table’s post.

Held at the cozy Four Quarters Airbnb in Bakakeng, it was a night defined by comfort, connection, and the kind of laughter that only happens when you’re wearing your favorite flannel set.

Community Around the Table
The Shared Table has a knack for bringing people together. Walking into the room, I was greeted by the comforting sight of familiar faces from previous gatherings, alongside several new ones who quickly felt like old friends.

True to its name, the night centered around a massive potluck spread. There’s a specific kind of intimacy in sharing a meal where everyone has contributed a piece of the feast. Between bites of comfort food (like fried chicken, barbecue, pancit, pasta, ajd more), we swapped stories that ranged from deep life reflections to lighthearted banter. As the plates cleared, the card games came out, sparking friendly competition that lasted well into the night.

Sharing stories, laughter, and more with these people.

Home For The Night: Four Quarters
What made this gathering extra special was the venue. Tucked away in the quiet, scenic area of Bakakeng, Four Quarters is an absolute gem for large groups. It’s rare to find a space that can comfortably accommodate 25 guests while still feeling cozy and intentional.
The house is thoughtfully divided into themed spaces, each offering a different vibe:
THRIVE Room: A spacious sanctuary featuring two double beds and two single mattresses—perfect for the core group of six.

PAUSE: A cozy nook with bunk beds and a pull-out, ideal for a group of four looking for a classic sleepover feel.
FEEL: This room felt luxurious with two queen beds, easily hosting six people in total comfort.
PONDER: A quieter corner with a double bed and foldable mattress for a group of four.
LOUNGE & GAME ROOM: For those who wanted to stay close to the action, the sofa beds in these common areas provided a snug spot for the remaining five guests.
The layout encouraged both communal interaction and moments of quiet retreat, making it the perfect backdrop for a pajama party.
A Night to Remember
As the Baguio mist settled outside the windows, we were ensconced in our own little world of warmth. There were no pretenses—just good food, great company, and the shared joy of a night spent away from the hustle of daily life.
It was yet another lovely night with The Shared Table. Whether you’re a local or just visiting the Summer Capital, these gatherings remind us that the best part of any trip isn’t just the destination—it’s the people you share the table with.
