Manila House is a private club in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. And as such, one person can’t just show up amd use the club’s facilities like restaurants, bars, and function rooms. One needs to be invited by a member, just like in my case, I am able to go here because my sister is one of the founding members.

Digging a bit of information, the Manila House was designed by Gert Voortjans, a Belgian interior architect renowned for his unique style. The Manila House encompasses a sprawling 5,000 square meters of NetPark property. The interior is adorned with some really interesting and fun tapestries generally of tropical-colonial style. What caught my attention during my first visit were the paintings hanged on the walls of their function rooms. Even their comfort room is quite eccentric.

During my sister’s birthday celebration, we were served with Japanese food in buffet style. From among the food served, the porchetta and ikura (salmon roe) and caviar pasta were some personal favorites! The matcha cheesecake with strawberries, on the other hand, was quite of a letfown. They, also have other Asian/Asian fusion dishes as part of their in-house restaurant’s menu. They also have an in-house cocktail and liquor bar called “Let It Flow”. Anyhow, here are few photos of what you’ll see inside The Manila House during a party. (Will add some more when photographs during my sister’s celebration from Nice Print are released).
