Moalboal: Sardine Run & Sunset Chase (Cebu 🇵🇭)

Travel takes us out of our comfort zones and inspires us to see, taste and try new things. It constantly challenges us, not only to adapt to and explore new surroundings, but also to engage with different people, to embrace adventures as they come and to share new and meaningful experiences.

Spectacular Moalboal sunset

Moalboal is a small coastal town at the southwest section of Cebu in the Philippines. It is one of the most popular areas from among divers because of its rich marine life, particularly the sardine run experience.

Moalboal’s main attraction: Sardine Run

But that’s not the only thing to see and do in Moalboal. Other than diving, there are more activities one can do within the town itself or in nearby municipalities like Barili, Oslob, and Badian.

Visit the San Juan Nepomuceno Parish, Moalboal’s local church.
Eat at a local cafe or restaurant like Dhodz Pizza
Bum around Basdaku Beach where waters are clear and white sand abound.
Do a day trip at nearby Pescador Island foe more underwater adventure. Marine life here is amazing!
Cap off your day by chasing the sundown at Panagsama Beach. Sunset at this side of Cebu is just stunning!

Take it easy.
