Cairo: Beyond Pyramids and Pharaohs 🇪🇬

Cairo is equated to the ancient pyramids

Dhikrayat Al Qahira – literally means ‘memories of Cairo’. And this is a short recollection of some photographs I took during my Cairo, Egypt visits on 2 occasions.

The Cairo Tower

Being the largest metropolis in the Arab World, Cairo has been attracting multitude of tourists across the globe. Located on the banks of the iconic Nile River, Cairo, Egypt’s capital, holds the special distinction of being home to the only standing ancient wonder in the world — the Great Pyramid. Having been completed around 2540 B.C, tge pyramids are partt’s part of a complex outside the city on the Giza Plateau.

By the River Nile

There are many reasons why one would want to take a trip to Cairo. From its culture, food and architecture, one will be amazed as to the many wonders Cairo can offer. Plus the fact that a travel to Cairo is an amazing opportunity to go back in time to a world where pharaohs ruled the region.
