Cliché to ask, but this very popular line from a coffee brand, got me thinking for the past months now. And honestly, I never knew it would be this difficult to give an answer.

“Para kanino ka bumabangon?”

Well, I wake up (early) to see the sun rise. I both love sunrise amd sunset but there is a particular charm in sunrises that makes me feel revitalized. It makes me hopeful everytime despair is creeping in with the back to back slaps of reality.

I wake up for my dogs, who would always always greet me with happy wagging tails and licks, (kahit marami kaming away-bati moments especially when they are being stubborn). Their love is just so pure and unassuming.

And I wake up, despite the many challenges, for my dreams. It’s a cliché answer but don’t we all strive and push ourselves to better our lives? There are (alot of) days when I just want to give up (kasi believe me, I have loooots of baggages that I just don’t show) pero hindi kasi pwede. Paano na tayo makaka-pag-Machu Pichu kung gigive up na lang tayo ng ganun ganun na lang?

Anyhow, may we all find the strength to go on with our lives, and be happy with our little successes along the way.
