I thought of you and how you love this beauty,
And walking up the long beach all alone
I heard the waves breaking in measured thunder
As you and I once heard their monotone…
Coron in Northern Palawan is a famed destination for its inland lakes (Kayangan and Barracuda Lakes) and lagoons like the Twin. Moreover, the island also offers many islands with pristine, white sand beaches and perfect for diving, snorkelling, or just swimming.
One of the most frequently visited among these beaches is Banol Beach. One of the many white sand beaches you in Coron, Palawan. It is a small stretch of sandy white beach which is a popular lunch stop during island tours. Banol Beach is opened publicly, and surrounded by splendid backdrop of limestone cliffs. The beach has a bright aquamarine and turquoise waters that is very relaxing to the senses.
The place is indeed a good location for snorkelling and kayaking, more so because the awesome limestone cliffs surrounding the large island of Coron are worth exploring from the sea. If you just opt to swim or wade along the shore, one can see many small fishes swimming by.
The place also features some huge rock boulders slumped around. There are also local cherry blossoms (as termed by our boatman) that added charm to the place.
